Chief Pilot - Douglas James

Douglas James has trained and operated charter flights locally so has the advantage of local knowledge with the weather conditions and operations in the Tasmanian environment, as well as experience in flights to the mainland. In addition to his duties with us he owns and operates an adventure/aerobatic warbird operation so is used to operating powerful, complex aircraft in a safe and secure manner. He also runs Search and Rescue Dogs of Tasmania, a volunteer organisation that trains and utilises dogs to search for people who are lost or missing. For fun he is a volunteer and professional ski patroller on Ben Lomond.
